.x.X Appearance: Amaranth is a slightly dark bay but overall black pelted mare. She takes both characteristics of a thoroughbred and Arabian. The only marking she has is a white star upon her forehead. Her tail and mane possess the color black like her pelt. She bares a scar along one of her thighs.

.x.X History: Amaran was born into a small herd. There were five other mares that had foals during that time, and Amaran was the other filly born that year in their small herd. So she started growing up playing, fighting, jumping, running, getting herself in some sort of danger or trouble with the other colts she befriended. In human terms she was practically a tomboy. Of course her mother always hated the fact that she would come back with a muddy pelt or with a small cut. Her mother wanted Amaranth to be like her older sister that was four years older than she was and who was a beautiful mare that all the stallions wanted and all the mares wanted to be like. But Amaranth never had the desire to be like her older sister, but mostly because her sister was the rudest most spoiled flirtatious mare with a stuck up nasty personality in the herd. So Amaran continued to hang out with her friends. Amaran never knew her father, and her mother never told her about him, but others told her that he left before she was born.

Around five years later Amaran’s sister was now mated with the Heir of the herd, who plainly disliked Amaran, but one night Amaran heard her sister and her mate talking about some sort of plan, and what shocked her is their plot was to murder the lead stallion, his father, so they could take throne. The next day Amaran tried to prevent their plan and tried telling the herd what they planned to do, but no one seemed to believe her, they were the adored couple and horses of the herd. So Amaran came up to the heir and demanded he told everyone the truth, but instead he reared up and sliced her thigh with his hoof. Then a battle broke out between the two unlikely fighters, the fight was lasting long, but to everyone’s surprise the heir finally surrendered, but lied to his father about all that happened and the lead stallion exiled Amarath from the herd. It hasn't been to long since that day, but now she wanders alone.

.x.X Personality: Amaran is a mare who isn’t an afraid to get dirty or scratched up. She enjoys having fun in daring dangerous ways, even fighting. She’s very sweet and loyal to those she trusts. Oddly enough she feels more comfortable hanging around stallions than other mares. She’s not much of a romantic, but she always said she’d settle down someday and start a family someday. She truly hates liars, cheaters, traitors, mostly just darks in general.
